I insight it interesting that our nation is bereaved two famed individuals whom barely any person knew. People all cross-town America are conversation active President Ford and James Brown in bright and attractive terms, near as if the two of them had been our next neighbors. Only they weren't, but it doesn't give the impression of being to business. We cry for their deaths because both of them were significant to us as a state. President Ford took complete once President Nixon resigned, at a essential tine in our ancient times. We had fair suffered through with Watergate, the last-place information of political wastefulness and graft we had of all time seen. We were fatalities as a nation, and Gerry Ford became our First Healer. James Brown came in circles once Afro-Americans in America were disenfranchised, once auditory communication in this region genuinely measured like-minded "white-bread." He revolutionized the pleasing industry, and we are a superior and a more than well-informed country acknowledgment to his hard work.

But deviation from those who were instinctively embroiled with them, furthermost Americans did not know, nor ever meet, any one of these large individuals. And yet, we grieve them as if we had far-famed them. What's active on here?

I will call upon it "The If Factor." In short, what goes through our minds and short whist once a known creature dies is: "if they could do it, so can I." Both President Ford and James Brown were "little people," just like-minded you and me. Their condition were nought special, neither one was foaled into comfortable circumstances or secure success, yet some of them became men who achieved personalized fulfillment, and were revered by others for what they had competent. You and I stare at them with longing, as if to say: why can't I do what they did? What is stopping me from escalating up and comme il faut an point of view in this world? Surely I have gifts and talents, as they did, so "if" they could money the word, so can I!"

So what do we really mourn? The reality that they died? Yes, and that is clearly conventional Their deaths are a loss to this pastoral. But what else do we mourn? Do we grieve that we cannot spiral to importance like-minded they did, that we are low-powered to realize because _________(you saturate in the white beside why you dream up you're stuck fast)? If so, hold back mourning and inauguration living-remember, "if" they could do it, so can we!
